Custom Search Results
Instructions
Once you have begun modifying your
template to your specifications, the search results
page will obviously not match your site anymore.
However, following these simple instructions will
allow you to create a search results page right
within your own website. This way, nobody will leave
your website domain even while they are searching.
- Be sure you keep the page inside of this folder
called results.html but
modify it to be a part of your site. Just dont edit
anything in the main text are where the results
code is.
- Upload all your pages to your website (including
the results.html page).
- Modify Line 144 of this page by changing the URL
www.yallways.com/results.html to
www.yourdomainname.com/results.html.
- Then once you have uploaded this page to your
site as well, you have finished. You can test it
out now.
If you are using the custom search
results feature of this template, then you are not
required to leave a link back or give any recognition
to who created this template. As a matter of fact,
leave one of the google adsense ads on the front page
and you even have the right to call this your own
work. If you have chosen not to use the search results
feature or leave any of the ads on the site, then
it is required that you leave a link back to my site
somewhere on the index.html page. Thank you.
